Mapule has worked at the Legal Resources Centre for the past five years, initially as a Housing and Evictions Researcher (2016-2018) and currently as a Project Manager for the housing project funded by Comic Relief. Her areas of interest are research and advocacy work within the following areas: land, housing, labour relations, youth development and gender transformation. She is currently enrolled for her Doctoral Studies in Human Rights at the University of the Free State’s Faculty of Law. She holds a Masters Degree in Reconciliation and Masters Degree in Industrial Sociology, BA Honours in Industrial Sociology, Post-graduate Diploma in International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts. She is a Board member of three NPOs that focus of youth development, land, and housing rights in rural areas (Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Free State & Limpopo). Her other areas of interest include art, fashion, wine, and sports. Driven by principles of inclusion, diversity, creativity, innovation & transformation.
